Platform02 — Attendance
Attendance that cannot be faked
Guards mark duty start and end on their own phone — with a live face scan and a GPS fix inside the site boundary. Proxy attendance ends the day you switch on.
The problem today
Paper muster rolls and phone-call check-ins invite proxy attendance: one guard signs for two, a friend answers the supervisor’s call, and the client pays for a post that was never manned. When the client finds out first, you lose the contract.
What you get
Face-verified check-in
Duty start requires a live selfie matched against the guard’s enrolled photo. Photos of photos are rejected.
GPS-locked marking
Attendance only registers inside the site’s geofence. A guard cannot mark duty from home or from the bus.
Late & absent alerts
Supervisors are alerted the moment a post is unmanned past grace time, with one-tap options to call or reassign.
Muster reports
Site-wise and guard-wise attendance exports for salary processing and client billing — no manual reconciliation.
How it works
Step 1
Guard reaches site
The app confirms the phone is inside the site geofence before the duty button activates.
Step 2
Face scan at post
A two-second selfie match confirms the right person is standing at the right post.
Step 3
Office sees it live
The shift board updates instantly — manned posts turn green, gaps stay flagged until covered.
Common questions
What if a guard does not have a smartphone?+
A site supervisor or a shared site device can mark attendance for basic-phone guards, still with face verification, so coverage does not depend on every guard owning a smartphone.
Does it work in low-network areas?+
Yes. Attendance is captured offline with the GPS fix and photo, then synced automatically when the phone finds a network.
Can guards mark attendance from outside the site?+
No. The duty button activates only inside the geofence you draw for the site, and every mark stores its GPS coordinates for audit.
