Platform04 — Patrol rounds

Proof of every patrol round

Fix QR codes at checkpoints across the site. Guards scan as they walk their round — every scan timestamped, geotagged and visible to you and your client.

The problem today

“Rounds completed” in a paper register proves nothing. Clients suspect night patrols are skipped, guards resent the accusation, and the agency has no evidence either way.

What you get

04.1

QR checkpoints

Print QR stickers at stairwells, basements, perimeters — anywhere a round must physically reach.

04.2

Scheduled rounds

Define patrol frequency per site — every 2 hours at night, every 4 by day — and the app guides guards through each round.

04.3

Missed-scan alerts

A checkpoint not scanned within its window flags immediately — you know about a skipped round before the client does.

04.4

Client-ready reports

Patrol completion reports with timestamps and photos, shared automatically to the client portal.

How it works

Step 1

Tag the route

Place tags at each checkpoint and register them in the app with one scan.

Step 2

Guards walk and scan

The app shows the next checkpoint; each scan logs time, location and optional photo or note.

Step 3

Rounds become records

Completed and missed rounds appear on the ops board and in the client’s portal automatically.

Common questions

Can a guard scan all checkpoints at once and skip the walk?+

No. Each scan is geotagged and time-sequenced, and tags are physically fixed at their checkpoints, so a round only completes by actually walking it.

Do patrol scans work without internet?+

Yes. Scans are stored on the phone and synced when the network returns — basements and stairwells are exactly where patrols happen.
