Platform03 — Geofencing
Know your guards are where they should be
Draw a boundary around each client site. EasyGuarding tracks presence within it during duty hours and alerts you the moment a post goes dark.
The problem today
Between supervisor rounds, an agency is blind. A guard who leaves the gate at 2 AM is invisible until something goes wrong — and the first person to know is usually the client, not you.
What you get
Site geofences
Draw precise boundaries per site — a single gate, a tower, or a full industrial campus with multiple posts.
Live presence board
A control-room view of every deployed guard: inside fence, outside fence, or offline — colour-coded and current.
Exit alerts
If a guard leaves the fence mid-shift beyond a grace period, supervisors get an immediate alert with last known position.
Battery-aware tracking
Location sampling tuned for 12-hour shifts on budget Android phones — presence assurance without draining the battery by lunch.
How it works
Step 1
Map the site
Drop a fence around the premises on a map — once per site, adjustable any time.
Step 2
Duty binds to the fence
When a guard starts duty, their presence is checked against that site’s boundary.
Step 3
Alerts on breach
Out-of-fence or offline beyond grace time raises a flag on the ops board and a notification to the supervisor.
Common questions
Is continuous tracking heavy on the guard’s phone battery?+
No. EasyGuarding uses periodic, geofence-based sampling rather than continuous GPS streaming, which keeps a typical Android phone running through a full 12-hour shift.
Is guard location tracked after duty ends?+
No. Tracking runs only between duty start and duty end. Off-duty, the app records nothing — important for guard privacy and trust.
Can one site have multiple posts?+
Yes. A large campus can have separate posts (main gate, rear gate, basement), each with its own coverage requirement and alerts.
