Security, privacy and control for guard operations

EasyGuarding handles sensitive operational data: guard identities, site assignments, duty records, locations, incidents and client reports. The product is designed so the right people see the right records at the right time.

Key takeaways

  • Role-based access keeps owner, supervisor, HR and client views separate.
  • Location tracking is tied to duty workflows, not off-duty surveillance.
  • Client portals are scoped to each client site and do not expose agency-wide data.

Access control

Every role gets a controlled view

A field supervisor should not need payroll access to solve an unmanned post. A client should not see another client site. HR should manage documents without changing live deployment records.

EasyGuarding keeps these responsibilities separated through role-based access, so each user can work without opening unnecessary data.

  • Owner and admin access for agency-wide settings
  • Supervisor access for assigned zones and sites
  • Client portal access limited to that client account
  • Module-level controls for sensitive guard information

Location privacy

Track duty presence, not private life

Guard location is useful when it proves a post is manned or a patrol was completed. It should not become unlimited tracking after the shift ends.

EasyGuarding is built around duty-time verification: attendance, geofence checks and patrol scans related to assigned work.

Client visibility

Share proof without giving away your back office

Clients need confidence that their site was covered. They do not need full access to your agency operations.

The client portal is designed around site-scoped proof: guards on duty, patrol history, incidents and relevant reports for that client.

Common questions

Is guard location tracked after duty ends?+

No. Location is captured only between duty start and duty end — for attendance, geofence checks and patrol proof. Off duty, the app records nothing.

Can clients see every guard and every site?+

No. A client login is scoped to that client’s own sites and reports — it never exposes other clients, your guard pool, rates or agency-wide operations.

Who can see guard documents?+

Only the roles you authorise — typically owners, admins or HR. Access is controlled per module, so a field supervisor can run daily operations without ever opening personal documents.
